Crazy, because I always heard Oh Boy was Jay's record, and that Cam snatched it from him. Also, Kanye was mostly producing his own shyt in 2002 and not really using Just and other dude's beats yet.

I'm not saying this can't be true, but it conflicts with stories Just has told about the record. I think maybe Dame is just confusing Kanye for Jay, because everything else about the story is right. Just the wrong artist.

Dame be mixing up people now.... and basically every interview of his eventually will contradicts one another. He definitely meant that Cam stole the beat from Just Blaze. That is true. He also put that record out on the streets before they cleared the sample, which led to them losing out on publishing money.

Which is how a lot of the beats used to float around Roc. But Cam was the only one to actually cook up something complete with it. And then after the fact, everybody started crying about how they had the beat first.
