i'm still proud of his initial statements...he said what he said. he wanted to bring awareness to the matter, he did that.
now he dosent want to talk about it any more. he's move on. the media is'nt tryna have a discussion about race. they just want new sound bites to dig at, and misconstrue . Killa wants to focus on the super bowl . let killa do that.
I agree.. It had to be said.. But in the same token thats the exact same reason that you can't " just talk about it" and just say something as provocative as "Some people are scared because of my skin color" And just not say anything else at all ...
From here on out the lesson need to be "don't bring up race at all.. but its a loaded subject that no athlete is going to ever be able to articulate correctly to the mass population of the country..
Cam is coo.. but Marshawn's 'shout out to my african' stuff last few years seemed more authentic
Marshawn shouted out he "real Africans" but seriously.. Where did this even get us in totality.. or did it only serve to divide people more and more .. Its sounded cool in the moment but long term it doesn't even begin move the needle on race relations in this country
