It goes well beyond that too. If you perceive his teammates to be poor, then he should be doing more to set the the table for them and use some of the attention he receives to help them get easier scoring opportunities, unless you think him chucking and making it easier for opposing teams to defend leads to better results.

I'm a Nets STH - Cam is nice but I don't think the NBA values what he does very highly anymore. He can score, but not efficiently and is extraordinarily shaky on defense and as a playmaker.

On a good team, what's his fit? Sure, he can put up 24 PPG on a team that's going nowhere, but what is his role on a 50+ win team? He's only 23 so there's definitely room for improvement there as well

Off the bench Lou Will straight gun. My best scorers need a break, we still need buckets, can you do that? It's a lane for pure bucket getters bro cmon. It doesn't have to be elite starter level efficiency. It just needs to be above the average bench player and a constant stream of points trickling in while my elite scorers are resting. Problem is he wants north of 30m a year and no team is gonna pay that or they would've already.

He's also young enough where he still thinks he can be a top 2 guy on a good team so a mindset change is also needed.

I'll say this, I was at the game last night vs the Wolves. He can get buckets but man it's a tough sell that you can win with him as a big part of your offense. 25 points, 24 shots, 3 assists. When Michael Porter Jr is the leading assist guy on your team(and he didn't even play last night) that's a HUGE fukking problem
