DC back in the top 10? Just like the old days :snoop:

Not. Even. Close. The overall per capita crime rate is down like 80% here compared to where it was in the late 80's-early 90's. I'm calling BS on these stats. If you notice, there's no root source for the actual crime stats in that link. shyts bogus.

USED TO at least.

I remember those days. Never made any sense to me why people felt that way. But based on the reactions thus far in this thread i'd say ther eis progress.

Like i was telling @Rawtid once I dont fukks around with sketchy areas. I like my neighborhood so crime-free that i can leave my car window down in the parking lot overnight with my $400 camera right on the passenger seat and find it in the same spot the next morning. Done this twice where i live now and my shyt wasnt touched

That was when gangsta rap was at it's height in the 90s and early 00s. People were :birdman: all the damn time.

You cant let entertainment alter your true self, homie. I think Art is supposed to imitate life. Not the other way around.

Tho i laughed when i used to see some parents say they wont let their kids listen to rap blah blah blah. I listened the same Onyx, Mobb Deep, snoop Dogg and NWA tracks they heard growing up. It has never gotten me to wonder about robbing folks like them clown used to spit on record.

Difference was, you had good parenting, while they had shytty parenting. Rap does influence lost people to do dumb shyt.

But seeing these cities up here like DC and ATL up in the top 10 again makes me :smh:

yeah the dc stat doesn't make much sense. I've been down here for a year, and no way is it worse than newark (which i don't even see on the list)
