yup, quik knows his music
I read that the bass and guitar riffs came from the purple gawd himself which is funny cuz I always thought this had a Prince like vibe to it.

IIRC, the riffs were some outtakes from the vault that he didn't do anything with. I think ?uestlove got them from him, then he gave em to Quik.i never knew
