I don't know what's up with rappers getting oversized veneers (new teeth)

But in dentistry it's got to be difficult.

To look the same as before.

Eminem in that Sway interview about Killah it - his teeth are not perfect.

Who knows maybe it affects the voice.

This is great cause if I ever need them I will try my best to get them good.

Veneers aren't permanent. You must maintain them and get replacements within 10 or 12 years. They are also not as strong as your real teeth. No more gnawing on chicken bones and ribs. I have a few dental implants(expesinve as a mf too) and they also have need to be maintained, but I can gnaw on chicken bones with confidence

Unless you got a gap or something crooked you want fixed cosmetically... Just take care of your teeth, brehs. Not hard to floss, brush and get regular cleanings at the dentist every 6 months. Maybe use some whitening gel every so often if you want them to stay pearly. Nothing like your own natural chompers. I'm flabby and sick and know too many folks my age that lost all they teeth. It was either heavy drug use or neglect... or a combination of both.

I guess is these entertainers lifestyles thats a mis-match, plus the pressure of having to look "presentable" on Tv/red carpets/awards etc.

But again, prolly also the lifestyle. Eating unhealthy shyt on the run, alot of alcohol and drugs etc

. . . . we had one back in the mid-90s who bragged that he didnt own a toothbrush and never been to the dentist in his life . . .. . he had this corny gimmick where he would chew on a Reese Cup and spead it all over the front of his teeth and then act all extra and loud like "yall were right - look at how rotten my teeth is" . . .. all good until he one morning he woke up with severe abdominal pain and one of the front teeth missing. . . . . by the time he was old enough to legally drink . . . .. had them medicaid dentures looking like a dyslexic British vampire . .

Ah okay.

I want to learn about it.

I know fronts that go on top of teeth and I think all is okay.

But I don't get why some rappers removed gold fronts and then their teeth looked filed down and messed up.

Like what kind of fronts are there

1. Gold, silver or diamond that go on top of teeth

Or

2. Implanted sold gold or silver that are semi permanent but then when removed are like removing implants?

I feel ignorant asking Coli instead of doing my own research.

I know about removable fronts but not the science between say Lil Wayne's which look like permanent diamond teeth.
