Yeah, Dame tried with DDMG but it flopped hard. It's crazy that Def Jam nudged him out but still put up the bread for this new label.

I remember going to a DDMG release/event for the B. Coming. It was down in Chelsea, Beans was locked up so Dame was going hard with talking to all the media, and promoting the shyt. He had his assistants and all that but dude was winging it by himself. You didn't get the impression that Beanie was the cat you wanted to kick your first label release off with but I guess Dame had so much invested and dude was the only artist of value left since Kanye stayed with Jay (smart move)
