I'm 42 as well, breh.
It's a beautiful age.
Your 40s is the age of mastery.
Be comfortable with who you are completely, all the good and bad you've experienced and done.
Every single piece of it contributed to who you are today, and the only thing you can do right now is accept all of it, remember the lessons, recognize it all as a blessing, and continually build on it.
Spend these next 7 years loving who you are right now, while focusing on refining your understanding of the lessons life has taught you, and applying the wisdom gained from those lessons to your daily life, in preparation for the next age.
Your work isn't done until the Creator decides to call you home.
Until then, just focus on continually smoothing out the rough edges so you can be at your absolute best when the day comes to meet your Maker, so you can shine in Their presence like They intended you to.
