I'm confused , what are these 'objective' top 25 list based on ?

everyone got their own reasons why someone is in their top lists but we all know nas, big, pac are top 10 and have to be included in your list ore u not hiphop

All things considered he's probably Top 25

Objectively I'd put these people over him

2Pac, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Ice Cube, Rakim, The Notorious B.I.G., KRS-ONE, DMX, Kool G Rap, Black Thought, Common, Lil Wayne, Prodigy, Redman, Pharoah Monch, Ghostface Killah, Big Daddy Kane, Chuck D, Guru, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Andre 3000 and Mos Def

Some of these are arguable cause they might be better rappers then Cam but don't got music better then Cam or Cam is a better rapper but doesn't have better music

Being completely impartial:

Jay, Pac, Eminem, Kendrick, Nas, Cube, Rakim, Biggie, LL, KRS, Pun, DMX, G Rap, Black Thought, Common, Prodigy, Redman, Monch, Ghostface, Kane, Chuck D, Guru

Are the only ones clearly better. You can argue after that.

As far as my personal list, he's around 15-20 area.

And mind you Cam, X, Ras Kass are probably my three favorite rappers ever

From your list I got Cam'ron ahead of a few of these guys, but it always depends on the criteria being used (whether it's impact, straight rapping, ability to put songs together, peak performance vs. overall catalogue, etc.) I definitely have him in front of Eminem and Common though. At the same time I have some other cats that I think are definitively better than Cam that aren't listed here (Lil Wayne, Ross). He's probably around the 15-20 range on my all-time list as well though, speaking off the top of my head.

I base my lists on the overall.

I'm gonna start doing seperare lists for artists, emcees & lyricists.

cuz a lot of these rippity-rap and/or "purist-based" dudes be getting over like a fat rat on these lists.
