Peter King is a lazy writer. Like most of the old guard he doesnt watch all of the games and harps on single instances in games that he does watch....and creates a story out of it. Francesa does the same thing.

Peter King about Drew Brees drive: "Sign of a great QB: Hasn't been his day, but Brees takes his team 97 yards to TD in NFC South Championship Game. Graham helped."

Peter King about Newton's : "A huge drive for Newton, a season-saver. Good for him. He needed that. "

CISM!! You can smell it!!!

:heh:

brees fukking went 97 yards.

The Defense gave Cam great field advantage. You nikkas dont watch games. You praising Cam when he did shyt all game. The Defense out there looked like the 85 bears :laff:

My thing is, I'd respect King if he had a history of:

1. using one BAD game to determine a QBs future worth.

Thing is....he HAS none.

fukk him.

When the coaches cam makes it available!! That throw was beautiful!!!
You didn't like the throw to Olsen on 2 & 10 that he threw him open and the refs "mysteriously" missed that hands to the face? Didn't even think about moving out of the pocket

I'm usually not one to jump on the 'they hate him because of the color of his skin' train, but Cam Newton, if he continues his progress in the pocket and with his reads/accuracy the way he has this year, could go down as one of the hardest QB's to defend against in the history of the game......and they have a real hard time dishing out the respect he deserves because of his smile from 3 years ago.

The man has built upon his game and overcome the sophomore slump to position himself and his team among the leagues best. He should AT THE VERY LEAST be showered with the same affection the pundants heap upon the fukking Joe Flacco's of the world.

While nice, that back shoulder throw has become common place.

That throw Reb is mentioning was the real magic.

If he can get some upgraded receivers and grow on making throws like that, the league could be in a lot of trouble.
I wasn't talking about the throw itself. just his pocket presence really. That whole drive he stood tall even with a rusher coming straight towards him.
