Yes, I’m sure the legions will flock to you after a few displays of power . Not to mention their casualties would be significantly lower if they joined you .

All you have to do really is conquer a few key territories like Italy , Egypt and Hispania.

edit- I’m sure a tons of bullets mean an armory full . That is really what would tip the scale . And does that mean fuel as well ?

Edit 2- Nah fukk that . No Logistics alone would fukk us .

So let’s say 100 coli brehs, each with a machine gun, with a ton of bullets, 5 Humvee military vehicles are somehow accidentally transported to Ancient Rome at the peak of its power, can these 100 coli brehs easily takeover the entire empire with their weapons? :patrice:
U c00ns would be busy raping pawgs to buss your guns

Only because they lived 2000 years ago means they weren‘t stupid. After a few Lost battles they would switch to guerilla tactics and snatch the coli brehs in the dark 1 by 1. They were hardened warriors litarely breed for battle since they we‘re children:hubie:

Coli nerds really think, that after a a couple hours at the range, they could go up against hundreds of thousands of thousands of killers who have spent the past 20 years of their life killing :russ:

Romans would make the Taliban look civilized.
Imagine getting captured as a POW. There is no Geneva convention. Those Romans would probably boil you alive :mjlol:
I think after the initial shock of the future tech wore off, military advisors would come up with a plan for 100 men. Most likely cutting off supply lines, and not engaging in direct combat.

Yea, but they could always get reinforcements from back home. The 100 brehs know there will never be any restock or any reinforcements coming through the time warp in a month or a year or ever.

Once you have decimated their military, it's divide and conquer time.

Human beings are nowhere near as brave as you think; and more importantly, they are even less united in the face of overwhelming danger. Once the smoke clears you start building alliances and that's that. You use Romans to control Romans.

Far too many times in history this has been proven. The Normans invaded Britain in 1066, defeated the majority Anglo Saxons, and ruled for 300 years.

As I said, it just took 3 Legions to be wiped out by Arminius in some German forest and the Romans left the Germans alone for good. They didn't want any more of that shyt.

Nothing especially brave about the Romans. They are just as scared to die needlessly as any other people.

Hell, the Church controlled people for thousands of years just by threatening eternal damnation.

I've been looking through the post and nobody has really talked about arrows

Once word gets out that you're taking siege to cities, they'll put archers on the fukking wall and put oil and fire on their arrow tips and let loose

You're done
I agree if archers could get close enough and the 100 is standing still , but they would most likely be out of range of any arrow fire for the most part

It would depend where you mounted an attack. If you rolled into the capital, you may he able to quickly overwhelm the security forces and garrison the area before they could mount a counter offensive. The biggest deciding factor would be if said shock and awe can convert these areas into allies. If the empire started mobilizing large cavalry, archery, and seige weapon divisions, it would be over quickly. Also, fuel and ammo would eventually run out. You'd need an alliance of thousands to maintain any victory.

Edit: Not to mention logistics. Soldiers need food, water, and sleep. Out of the 100 men, only 50 or so could be active at any given time. Others would have to be maintaining weapons, sleeping, eating, tending to the wounded, gathering supplies, etc.
