The Knicks just can't compete against the best East teams, it seems, which is crazy considering how, in the off-season, they were touted as having one of the best rosters in the league.
Look, I'm not saying the Towns trade was bad because it wasn't, but I honestly feel like the Knicks team that was projected to be with the addition of Bridges would've been better overall.
KAT, even with his offensive prowess, made the team soft and lost that edge and tough, rugged, etc., aura from last season that made them great and, in some ways, one of the better teams to watch last year and it felt like they actually could've made it as far as the ECF/Finals.
This year we were debating if they'd lose in the first round to the Pistons; it wasn't like that the year before.
