It’s the 2nd apron creating parity AND Lebron, KD, and Curry getting older. I don’t think there is a talent in the league right now as good as those three were at their peaks.

Even then, those 3 in their primes wouldn't change the parity much unless we're gifting them their peak super teams as well (exempt from the 2nd apron).

i.e. The type of ish Giannis went through in rd1 (avg 33/15/6.6) to lose in 5... and what DMitch went thru the first 3-games in rd2 avg 41/6/6 but down 1-2? We saw peak LeBron go through that same ish vs the '09 Magic. Him and KD both chose to hop around for talent-heavy/super teams for a reason lol

Tbh.. wasn't as painful as it seemed for Tatum but.. it hurt. Felt like someone kicked you in the back of the ankle
I don’t even think Tatum was just that emotional from the actual pain. I think he realized in the moment he tore his Achilles and that his season was over and the recovery he has ahead, and that was those emotions spilling out.

Still no Tatum mri results and we never had the typical team feared Tatum suffered an Achilles injury post game release. Maybe bruh lucked out :blessed:

Yeah I genuinely felt for him heavy.

Didn’t think he had any emotions at all until that moment.

Hope he comes back on a mission.

Horford is a free agent after the season but will probably re-sign on a discount

Payroll will be slashed bc being in the 2nd apron consecutive years severely limits what you can do as a team in this CBA

They’re currently projected to be between $17-$20 mil over the 2nd apron next season and still have open roster spots that will need to be filled

If Tatum does have to miss significant time next season, then it will make tough decisions a little easier knowing they won’t be contenders anyway
Moving Jrue is gonna be problematic because he genuinely doesn't have the value to warrant that contract(since it has 3 years left on it). If it was shorter it might work but I'm not sure which contender is lining up to take him and if he goes to a worse team then picks will likely need to be attached.
