I'm going with supreme clientele but I can totally understand someone picking ob4cl.

@stomachlines, I'm starting to wonder if you were right about SC being the last great classic :patrice:. But then again I didn't label it a great classic until about 2010 so hopefully time will tell

Elaborate
Well we all know a key one being Blueprint. Cam birthed Dipset moved that way beat wise and had the biggest pull of his life. 75% of those beats that Jay and Cam/Dipset were on could've been Ghost's at that time after Supreme Clientele dropped. Ghost brought the sample shyt into the 2000s breh... shyt sounding crispy as ever.

I'm not saying Ghost started that shyt by any means... but in hip-hop circles that Supreme Clientele album was heralded... especially in 99/2000 where everyone was sayin Wu-Tang was done. People in the industry knew Ghost lowkey dropped a heater received or not...

Nahhhhhh son

Cuban Linx is a mystifying achievement :whew:

No one's been able to recreate RZA's production on that. He did some ridiculous things with breakbeats... getting dissonant tones from the kick... layering snares/rimshots... revolutionary at the time :wow:

Every verse Ghost dropped on that shyt was a gem :wow:
