They will beat Sixers easy being they didnt get PG, Bron or Kawhi. But Celtics are food for Warriors. Boston also struggled in ALL away games last playoffs except one in Philly and they still could've lost that one.they ain't gonna beat the sixers let alone the warriors

Didn't they lose to the Wizards in the playoffs a few years ago? And the Wizards always seem to take them to 6-7 games. So "ran through" is a pretty big stretch.

Boston beat Philly and took Cleveland to 7 games without their 2 best players and Tatum being a rookie
But the only way this celtics team compete with the Warriors is if Hayward and Kyrie come back 100%, Tatum become a top 5 player, Brown becomes a top 10 player
And with that squad..... if they struggled to take the Cavs to 7, they ain’t beating GS
Sacrifices will have to be made, either Tatum and Brown gonna have to fall back or Kyrie & Hayward.
All 4 of them ain’t gonna be out there dominated getting 30-20 ppg.
That’s why I think if Cs was smart they trade one or 2 of the latter.
Get some younger HEALTHIER guys and then make a serious run for the next decade and a half

Boston is gonna be real deep next season if healthy , real deep and coming off a deep run without their best 2 players on paper. I don’t think they find a challenge in the playoffs until the finals.

I guess I meant more with the work they put in, in 82 games to legitimately earn being the one seed as you pointed out. They wasn’t out here losing to the Nets or Suns or Orl. They wasn’t getting too tripped up against Bulls or Pistons or Lakers or Jazz.
They did what they had to do to win 59 games, owning the 2nd best record in the league after only the Rockets. 40-12 in their conference
The only thing that stopped them from going to the finals was the same thing that’s stopped everyone else in the East the last 8 years

I like Boston team. However, they will not beat the avengers. If you can't beat Warriors at their own game (signing/trading for big time players). You'll never get pass them.
