I am about to change web browsers and it will log me out and i don't remember the password to get back in. It won't let me see it on my profile page where the option to change it is.
Can a mod pm me my password?

If only there were some way to reset the password for those who may have forgotten it. Maybe on the login screen? Let me go look.

and if only it showed you the existing password so that you can change it to a new one.
Wouldn't it be easier to reset your password on this web browser so you can have a new one on the other browser? Or take two devices, log out in one and reset the password, then use that password on the other device.

that's what i'm saying, it has a box for existing password, then a box for new password and one to confirm the new one. in the existing box, the password is asterisks or stars or whatever, and when i put in a new one, it says the existing one is wrong. I don't know what it is. My firefox keeps freezing up since i upgraded it and i am going to go to the one i had before but it might log me out.
Ok, I just tried it on firefox and see what you mean. I sent myself a reset password email but who knows how long that'll take. Maybe try getting chrome and resetting your password. Let me see if I find the email address for that account.

well i figured out the password, but when i go on chrome and login with google, which i'm logged in on firefox on now, it says that new registrations aren't being accepted right now.
i'm just trying to keep my browser from freezing and have to go through all this.

i figured out the password but when i try to log on on chrome with the same account(i'm using firefox now) it says something like 'we aren't taking new registrations.'
Make sure you're logging in and not trying to register a new account.

Yeah I can do that. But check what cook said above, make sure you're not clicking the register button

i checked it, i was using the wrong google account. but i still will need the email reset though.
