Staring at a solar eclipse, just like staring at the sun (when it's bright, not on some sunset sh*t), can cause eye damage.

I guess the thing is, in order to fully take in the experience you have to be looking at it consistently.

The eclipse is at 98% in my city, and I don't have glasses. From what I've read, I won't experience much. They say you have to be in total eclipse range for it to get really dark and eerie.

Light eyes are recessive/ weak. Darker eyes are protected from the sun the best
