Andre Drummond went from a black hole to a pretty decent passer for a big guy
Anybody agree with this?Westbrook is miles better as a passer than he was in his first few years in the NBA
If he averaged 50fg% or whatever the equivalent to dray being the second most assist making forward in the league.....than yeah..Nah. If Kenneth Faries decided to take more game shots he wouldn't be a conidered a better shooter just because he took more shots in the game.
Look at who he's passing it to. You could get a gang of assists too if you played for the Warriors right now.If he averaged 50fg% or whatever the equivalent to dray being the second most assist making forward in the league.....than yeah..
I agree, if you understand the offensive system then it’s easy to make the right pass/read. Flashy passes don’t necessarily mean a player is great at passing.Yes, passing is the easiest skill to learn in basketball..it's just the mentality
There are definitely tiers to great passing, (Magic, lebron, Nash, Kidd..etc) but overall you can still be a decent, average passer and be able to do that with ease. It's just a lot of people don't have that mentality, they want their shots.I agree, if you understand the offensive system then it’s easy to make the right pass/read. I agree.anyone can pass more
but that savant level wizardry level of dimes
that's a matter of spatial intelligence/spatial perception & that's genetically determined

Giannis. Kawhi. Harden. Can you name a person that became a much better passer in the league than when they entered?

Giannis always was a good passer. Kawhi isn't a good passer to me. Harden passes more.Giannis. Kawhi. Harden.
Even before he went to Golden State, Durant was a better passer than he used to be.
On a different level, Cavs' coaches said that TT improved a ton at passing out of offensive rebounds compared to where he started.
Basically, if you have capacity for a high bball IQ, you can improve as a passer. Some guys have the capacity, but they've never had the reps, and those are the guys you see keep getting better and better.
Other guys just don't have the capacity for a high bball IQ, so they never improve as a passer no matter how long they stay in the league.
Giannis had potential but he wasn't anything like this his first two seasons.Giannis always was a good passer. Kawhi isn't a good passer to me. Harden passes more.

Kawhi went from being very limited as a passer to a capable passer when he made the jump in 2016.
No one was ever calling Harden a next-level passer when he was with the Thunder or even in his first couple years with the Rockets. He's grown leaps and bounds in that department.
And you haven't addressed Durant's obvious improvement.
