I should invest in animal anti-depressants

Serious talk. I live in a neighborhood of all white people w madddddd dogs n pets. In some cases these animals are treated like children with emotions and wants n needs. I bet there would be a market for that shyt... if you advertised it right..

put that tm like dude said.

they already got anti-depressants n shyt for pets. i got a yellow lab and she damn near has a heart attack everytime there's thunder. The vet gave us Valium. I know thats an anti-anxiety drug, but you get my point...

In regards to the thread, the way i see it...if animals were capable of suicide it would indicate that they are capable of complex thought. I would imagine that ability would be observable in other actions as well.

actually anti-depressants are known to make shrimp suicidal. maybe rethink that

While antidepressants are made to improve people's mental health, the opposite reaction seems to be occurring in shrimp, which become five times more likely to commit suicide when exposed to the drug fluoxetine.

breh, it could be catnip extract in liquicap form.

Make a a commercial with dude droning in the background "tired of your cat looking sad and depresssssed" of course the cat was just sleep of some shyt....

Third rule of Marketing: "If people don't have a problem to market to, then create a problem for them."

okay, I just made that up. :patrice:

totally unrelated, but I remember doing some keyword research for a joint pain product, right.

I throw something like 15,000 keywords in an excel spreadsheet to sort them out..... I came across a whole block of people searching for "Cures for cat arthritis" cure for horse arthritis" and the like. I was like :mindblown: wtf

Sometimes it's amazing what there's a market for, provided you can dig far enough down.

Accidental suicides among animals happens all the time.

If you're talking about a conscious decision to commit suicide, then you're getting into the question "Do animals have minds?" Can they consciously think and understand their existence in a frame of reference?

That's a hard question to answer.
