U gotta hold the PS button down til you hear two beeps then it'll turn on give you some options. You go w either rebuild database or initialize. One of them deletes all your save data but it might be necessary. So look it up before you do it

There's a diff between the safe modes yet I think. Iirc mine would boot and ask for you to plug something in then I had to do it again to get the options

It's a wrap for that system fam you can still get your game save info if you got PS+. Time to get a new ps4 pro. The cost of time and money fixing this old one ain't worth it

It only turns on it safe mode...it needed update 6.72 that’s how long it’s been down...I copped a flash drive and got the update for 7.02

it’ll dl and all, but when it goes to restart itself it says ps4 can’t be started

matter of fact just did it as I typed this

Im finna try the complete system wipe, that’s all that’s left...I tried to rebuild the database and the same thing happened

anybody know any other tips to get this shyt back working?
