Well, afro-latinos are black.. if you're talking about the mixed ones? I honestly don't know. Possibly. I guess you would be classified as whatever you look like. Black hispanics will be classified as black and non-black hispanics, the hispanics we think of when we say the word "hispanic", will be classified white. However, hispanics are only put into the "race of offender" category as "white". If you look, they're listed when it comes to the race of the victim. To me, that heavily skews the white portion making it look worse than it actually is.

I consider Afro Latinos as Black also. But I also consider White Latinos as White. Any number of swarthy or brown skinned Latinos could pass for any Southern European "ethnic" White. There are alot of Surenos who could pass for Aryan Brotherhood members(both of which had an unofficial alliance and both of which have beef with Blacks). There are alot of Argentineans of Italian descent. There are alot of White Cubans and even "Jewbans". Does the one drop rule extend to non-Black peoples? Does One drop of non-white Native American blood make you non-White? Hispanic criminality in this country has ranged from Drug trafficking via White Hispanics in South America, or gang banging from Latino-Caribbean groups like the Latin Kings, to gang banging and drug trafficking via Mexico and the cartels. Bottom line, Hispanic isn't a race. There are many races within the Hispanic category. And the definitions of "White" have changed in this country, and are subject to change. The main commonality all Hispanics have is colonization and miscegenation via Europe(Spain).

You haven't seen anyone defending anybody's thug behavior. You just apparently can't distinguish between people telling you the reasons why. They are not defending it. I have my entire life. Most gangstas in the hood get all kinds of love in their community. There are plenty of Black women that love the Gangsta type of dude. Rap music glorifies "Gangsta culture". People even go out of their way to make excuses for them by telling us that they only kill other Black people because of poverty. I don't know where the fukk you grew up, but I grew up on the Westside of Chicago in the heart of the hood. Didn't nobody in my neighborhood glorify no moafukkas shooting up the neighborhood and selling dope. You are once again trying to take hardcore gang banging criminals and pretend that they are normal everyday working class black people.

Fwiw, Black people are the most conservative people that I know on social issues. They are definitely hard on crime and punishment; and they were all on board for stiffer sentencing until they learned that Cacs decided to make a difference in sentencing between powder cocaine and rock cocaine. Of course black defendants were affected more because they by and large used rock cocaine. That is what pisses black people off. The basic injustice in even how criminals are dealt with. Deal with them all the same and nobody would give a shyt about them, because they all knew the rules; but a white dude having the charges dropped against him for having powder cocaine while a black man having to do 10 year for a rock was bullshyt.
