Go to the Start button, select "Run..."
Then enter, 'regedit' and hit the enter button. This will open your Registry Editor.
Go to My Computer, then HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then Software, then Google, then Chrome, then BrowserCrashDumpAttempts

Is there a value in the data column?
(you can close this window by clicking on the 'X' in the upper-right hand corner of the Registry Editor window.

It doesn't do anything. It just provides information. Well, you can get to the registry editor from a windows 7 environment, but I'm on XP at work but you can get to it. Just google it.
The value in the data column may tell us if your Google Chrome app crashed.
