Joe johnson wasnt an all star when he gotnpaid neither but he kept the hawks in the playoffs yearly and was the most productive player rhey had of the past 15 or si years ourside mutumbo

People are acting like Conley is a bum. Is he worth that contract? Naw...not many people are but he's really good. Not making the all star games says more about the quality of guards out West more than Conley. Also Memphis is one of those squads that will have to overpay for dudes to come there. It is what it is. If it works out then they give it one more go at it.

It's simple there's something called salary cap, teams can spend X amount of money, if all the good players are already in other team, then the team has no other option but pay absurd amounts of money to the remaining players.

Conley missed like 30 games this year and they still made the playoffs and he's never even been the best player on that team to say he lead them to the playoffs. Overpaying these type of players is the reason teams get stuck being bad for many years
