In a game with a billion generic voices.. it's refreshing. He also does it from the heart, so it doesn't sound too forced at all...basically, he pulls it off.

I like it, Danny Brown is one of my favorites doing it now.

This is the appeal. You have a guy spitting some heartfelt rhymes, with a unique flow, unique voice switches, and creating an insanely dark atmosphere. He throws some pretty cool jokes in there to lighten the mood as well.

He doesn't have bars? There are little to no wasted lines on this song, while telling a complete story and still keeping the multis up. If you don't feel this song on some type of level man, what can I say? When was the last time you heard the pain in someone's voice like that? Go back and look at his old videos and you can see how real this dude is.

if you not into detroit/street/underground to commercial based horrorcore.

danny brown, may not work for you.

i like king gordy but him and danny brown.

are not accessible to people who are not into horrorcore past of even the most accessible gangsta variety.

i recommend van dyke and harper for people looking for a detroit streetbased gangsta rapper of crack selling variety content wise.

as that is the only gordy or horrorcore detroit street rap accessible record for mainstream listeners.

danny brown is for people who appreciate non conformity.

coupled with his hood intelligence and his ability to still relate to a common man, simply shining through all his zany labryniths.

most people who listen to rap as gateway fans are not that evolved for danny.

when danny is a good gateway rapper for a little more edge street and horrorcore wise.

danny is like what 2chains could be.

if he was capable of going there and above what is expected of him in a mainstream context,..but way better.

danny won't conform to the mainstream production either.

pkus he can carry records.

whereas a regular mainstream hopeful is all biter and production to get a rise out of you.
