I think emotional scars cause the most trust issues in new relationships. Naturally as life is lived it’s only a matter of time before individuals become jaded and glass half empty with their perceptions. I’ve learned to temper my expectations and check my perceptions at the door. It’s especially important to self realize if you’re naturally an anxious person to separate perceptions and reality.
