It will do better than bf 2042 just cause it looks and plays better. Doubt it ever overtakes cod though.
Dude plays zero multiplayer games and he spent his Friday evening worried about whos gonna outsell who this holiday season![]()
Now yall see why I can’t stand that cocksucker?Their BR will make or break them. If they nail that, they could start the road to overtaking COD in the long term.Exactly this
I think this BF if they make it right can eat into COD's share. They also have to make sure they hit on the BF BR because that's where they will see the most revenue. I think Warzone gave the COD franchise a lifeline, and I think that's what Activision wants to protect the most tbh.
Only reason battlefield 1 didn't outsell cod was because of remastered modern warfare bundle. How many times yall gonna play this will [some other shooter] outsell CoD game?
For the record, heres the best selling game by year for the last 20 years:

Br is the reason why cod is trash it started all this. the best case scenario for battlefield is game selling 20+ million while battle royal flops again.Their BR will make or break them. If they nail that, they could start the road to overtaking COD in the long term.
Nothing's bigger than COD but a lot of people are frustrated with the trash they've been putting out and lack of support, which has been worse than ever under Microsoft. Horrendous servers and performance, meaningless "updates" and the only focus being on skins is turning a lot of people off. There's just no other options in the market right now for FPS BRs.
I believe there's a good chunk of people ready to jump ship if a serious competitor comes along.
People are sleeping on this fact because the BR is where they have to take from COD. At the moment Warzone is an awful state where they don't even have stuff like map rotation, trios in certain modes, not doing much to stop hackers, etc. If Dice nails the BR, then COD is in serious trouble because BR is where most of the money is made with the COD franchise. Also, Warzone is what holds retention because many drop the MP because the BS but is where people always go back toTheir BR will make or break them. If they nail that, they could start the road to overtaking COD in the long term.
