Big Sean fukked up, shoulda dropped in the spring, and needs to either wait until Christmas or next year, between the heat that dropped recently and a large set of people looking forward to Ross (:snoop:), schoolboy q, drake, a second JT album, beyonce (for the females), some awaited mixtapes, and the gawd Nasir, I don't see how he finds time to be relevant this year...he's no one is waiting on, if he has a hit, ppl may give a look, if not, he's doing French Montana #'s

I'm a huge schoolboy q fan but to mention him as being more relavent then sean :mjpls:

im assuming ross is gonna drop mastermind around oct-nov but him dropping before :heh: is a good choice opposed to dropping after him.

TDE has a pretty solid fanbase, people are awaiting oxymoron...Sean has a "hey that song sounds cool whose track is that" type relevancy....they have different types of popularity but I see more ppl waiting on oxymoron than HOF :manny: tho q probably won't push big #'s

Wale & J. Cole?
You know Cole more than doubled Wale's sales right?

Your math skills is fukked homes. Smack the shyt outta every one of your math teachers when you come across them.

In terms of the OP's original question I'll take it in two parts. Commercially, he has zero chance of outselling Cole first week. Cole moved an insane amount of units, more than any new school dude since Drake I think. His release was a triumphant success commercially. Sean might be able to outsell Wale first week, but 160,000 albums first week isn't light work unless you're a legitimate star with crossover appeal, so it's not a given that he even reaches Wale's numbers.

In terms of quality of album, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he drops an album comparable to Cole's or even better. Born Sinner was a cool album, but that shyt fell out of my rotation in a week. I'm sure I'll get back to it at some point this summer but imo the album is noteworthy because of its commercial success, not really because of the quality of the album. I think he'll have a lot harder time fukking with Wale's album from a quality perspective. Wale's album is te best of the big four (Cole, Mac, Wale or Ye), and I think people are goin to appreciate the album more and more as time passes.

I've probably got more credits in mathematics than you have credits, that's irrelevant though, I thought that Wale sold 147k but it was 157k.

You might be right, but I've probably got more digits in my bank account than you have credits. By multiple, multiples probably.

Hopefully Cole has more features on his next album because hes pretty boring...

Hopefully Wale has less features and goes in on his own on his next joint

I always felt like Big Sean has that ADD fanbase. If he is coming out with a dope single no one really give a fukk. I have never seen people casually bring up Big Sean. Never see people talking about anticipating it. His 'core' fanbase is either small as fukk or nonexistent

Now you need to go back and revise your math.
If I had, say only 10 credits you having multiple's, say x2. It would mean that you have a million times more money than the US GDP in your bank account .

But any man who makes less money than the average student, should quit that job.

Point was that, I thought Wale sold 10k less than he did.
Nothing else, enjoy your quintillions.

Well, I did qualify my statement with probably. I own a tow truck business and I'm doing extremely well, but obviously not that well (of course no one is).

And if you're a student, stay focused and keep working homie. I'm not about to knock anybody trying to cultivate any type of legitimate intellectualism, especially since I wasn't fortunate enough to do the same (at least not with any University's imprimatur). I developed my vocabulary and ability to think critically in prison, but shyts always better when you don't have to go through that type of adversity before you gain the proper perspective on life, so congrats to you homes.

Passing the threshold to success without university studies is hard and dope :salute:
