Let me tell y’all tho bros I was in Alabama, seen hispanics with this little taco shop that was in a small ass shack. They just had a kitchen, an iPad and a register and an outside area where you eat . And that shyt had a long ass line the whole time we were eating. I was like damn, they probably pooled up for it and the shyt was probably cheap and they probably made their money back

This has always been dumb and to me, for the simple fact that it’s too risky…not with just black people, but with any people. It only take one person to fukk some shyt up. Very pyramid schemish. With all due respect, I look at this type of shyt as something people who don’t know how to run a check up for real get excited about. If I’m trying to do something I need help on, im talking to my network and seeing if anyone wanna invest before starting some friends and family ass loan system.

This basically creates a network for people. Say person A starts a car wash with their funds one month. Person B starts a limo service or shuttle service business. Person B can use Person A for car washes.

Even if the businesses aren't related, it still gives groups the ability to create a network.

You need smart, unselfish, business minded people. It does only take one person to mess it up or someone says they have an emergency and need an advance...blah blah blah.

It can work, but its not easy and damn near impossible with the wrong people. It does have the potential to get "pyramid schemish", but if you keep the group small like 6 people at the most. Twice a year, you're getting a check you don't have to pay back.

Think about the returns if you invested that money instead of flexing on other poor people.

Big Salute to you, fam! If you're ever on an East Coast trip do not skip Richmond, you won't be disappointed. Jackson Ward, as the case with many historically black areas around the country, has been hit with its share of gentrification in the last 15 years or so. But it's still around 45-50% black today and the ode to its black history is all over the place, you can feel the energy and the blackness there...

Very historic and thanks for the memories, I loved living there!
