Can black people get lice?

I was just reading Exodus 8 in the Bible & one of the plagues that God gave to the Egyptians was lice. So I am wondering can black men get lice?

I would think that anyone with hair exposed to lice have a chance of contracting it

African Lice are different from North American Lice. We dont get lice in North America because their claws cant grab our hair. Obviously the Lice in Africa are evolved to grab on.

This is true, but I still do a "Hot Wash" every month with apple cider vinegar and baking soda. Boiling hot water and just soak the locs without letting the water touch your scalp. Heat kills Lice for the most part...

There was a lice outbreak at my school and my parents said black folks can't get it. None of us did either Later on I looked it up and it's because the shape of our hair makes it hard to latch on to. shyt had us laughing cuz they were rich and had "roaches" in their head I got a track on my mixtape about it titled "Comb Them Roaches Out"

So how would you know who can get it?? Never in my life seen a black kid with lice.. shyt in school they “checked” our hair but we was in and out. The cacs the one sat in the chair for the real check

It was probably body lice not head lice.
