Why do people act like black people are a monolith?
Like black people have to unite across the globe....
Look, I get it. There are amazing things that can be achieved when people unite and work toward a common goal.
But just because two people are black does not mean they don't have other differences that might put them on different paths.
Because it's not like all white people are united in doing things either.
Bosnia, Ukraine, Ireland, Germany, etc...
There are plenty of divisions among every race.
How many different tribes and cultures exist in Africa for example? Dozens? Hundreds? Thousands?
I absolutely think people should work together when possible and where a mutual benefit exists.
But I don't think it's as simple as "I'm black, you're black...let's do this..."
It doesn't happen that way in any race/culture...I don't think.
But I could be wrong.
