I'm trying to create a home office, but I'm unsure about the desk, monitor and computer I should get. I need a little assistance procuring the right things. Can anyone here who has experience designing their own office at home offer some tips??

Why the hell would you sit that close to a 50” tv?
Before the virus hit I designed my home office for mobility so I could go and work out of a coffee shop once a week or so. I bought a portable second monitor off amazon to pair with the company laptop which I was going to upgrade myself to a Microsoft surface. I also have a wireless folding keyboard so I don’t have to be so close to the monitor as well as again being more mobile with my setup. That all sits on a drop leg folding table so I can put the work station completely away on weekends when my daughter wants to play in the room.

I'm not going to get a computer monitor. I'm going to pair the PC with a 50" TV.
Why?

30 inches is the max I would go with for a monitor. If you're going to use a TV then get a laptop holder for your lap (or a laptop stand, mouse, & keyboard) and a long ass HDMI cable
