He can't, why do you think he has to sing in his songs? He never struggled, so he can't rap about that street shyt. nikka was a fukking nickelodean actor so he got bread, probably payed his way for features on his "underground" mixtape and there you go... consider the fact that this generation is full of simps and bytch ass nikka, it made sense that he blew up. Plus he has female tendencies, which takes you a long way in the entertainment industry.

there is no reason for drake to change his formula. his fan base is consistent and wants something specific.

So that boy didn't release a classic in Take Care? That boy wasn't rapping his ass off in songs like Headlines and Underground Kings? He wasn't slick as hell on Over My Dead Body? He didn't go bar for bar with Ross on Lord Knows? That boy didn't flow his ass of on HYFR, he didn't have social media going crazy with The Motto?

:camby:
1. No.
2. No and No.

Everything else :ehh:

Headlines was not Drake spitting his ass off. Neither was Underground Kings. The concept of paying homage was cool it wasn't a lyrical display.

I respect Take Care because Drake executed his mission of a cohesive project but the length and content and presentation of content for a lot of the songs on there, I don't. My opinion on Drake's discography post-SFG is in the minority but :manny:

Probably not. When I used to listen to drake back befor SFG I always wondered what the fukk he was gonna rap about once he made it, pre-SFG it was all about how he was unsigned or it was about a chick.
