The answer is probably not but if he adopts what he's going to learn from Kobe and actually gets serious about becoming the best he can possibly be, I think he'll make a huge impact regardless.
He's got the potential to have a MVP/DPOY/FMVP all in one season type year if he really sets out to do it and has the right pieces around him. That will get him all-time great status. Maybe not top 5 center, but great nonetheless.

Only the bolded are better IMO. Now, You need to give 15 center that were bettter, besides the 5 that were already mentioned. You said he should be LUCKY to be in the bottom half of the top 20.

That said Shaq still had to deal with Dream, Ewing, Robinson at their respective peaks early in his career and held his own. Dwight has seriously had no comp at all in his career. Not his fault but when talking all-time that has to be taken into account. You could take Shaq and put him in any area and he'd do the same shyt. Not sure were Dwight woudl stand in the 90s with Ewing, Dream, Shaq, D. Rob, and Zo at the C position. Everybody doesn't have to be top 5 or the GOAT. Some guys are just great and that's it.
