The more people you have, the harder it is to share resources. So you have to use violence to determine who gets which.

The more people you have, the the more expendable/less valuable they each other, thus making it easier to treat others poorly. because in your mind, those people are just one of many. So everyone matters less.

Look at how much equal Native American tribes were. The less people you have, the more valuable and useful and important they are. So you are forced to treat everyone equal since everyone matters.

I was with you until I hit this sentence. The Native Americans.....before Columbus......were constantly at war with one another. Then again, that was when there were several tens of millions of them all over the continent.

Now look how many there are.

Not their fault, but had they all cooperated with one another and viewed each other as equals, this continent wouldn't be named 'America'.​
