Can every generation agree that the 2010s are the WOAT?

I always see posters saying "It's just nostalgia"

"The old generation always shyt on the new generation"

While those are somewhat true, they atleast had a lot of good and you can read and appreciate those decades. We all could go back in time and life would be 10x better. Better music, movies, no social media, etc. From an unbiased point of view, the years 2009+ are trash. Nothing really good came from the last 12 years and it'll all be forgotten outside of nostalgic folks who don't know any better. Will society eventually correct itself and usher in a new era of innovation? Who knows:yeshrug:

Nope, every generation says this

Late 2000s were WOAT for cartoons

Catscratch
Fanboy and Chum Chum
Problem solverz
Tak and the power of JuJu

No more toonami

:scust:

Plus, older people probably felt stresses as fukk after 9/11, up until 2004

Plus the recession

Pretty sure 90s cats hated what Diddy did to hip hop in the 2000s

And 80s cats probably hated 90s gangsta rap

I noticed there is No in between with y'all only extremes. Album comes out Trash or its Classic no pretty good or ok. and if it isn't better than something it is utter garbage.

2010s was great.
Movies were great-->whatever kind of movie you wanted, it came out in that decade
Videogames were great-->The 8th generation of consoles started and we got piff like GTA 5 and the God of War sequel.
Music was great--> Kendrick dropped Damn, The carter IV came out and Future became a star.
The coli was founded
The first black president was re-elected.
A lot of shytty celebrities got what they deserved(e.g. Weinstein)
Medicine got better. We've now got shyt like phage therapy and personalized medicine.
4K TVs became more affordable
Smartphones became light as fukk and fast charging with great cameras
Teslas became more main stream. Riding in one of those is like riding in a car from the future. shyt is quiet as hell.

Edit:

And Tupac came back in hologram form to rhyme with dre and snoop

U.S. auto industry was saved from collapse
And Osama bin laden got murked :wow:

The early 2010s were dope :blessed: (2010-2014). All the corny dance rappers went away, Drake, Kendrick, J Cole came in. Marvel was going ham with the movies. Obama, while hated on the Coli, was in office. Instagram and Twitter were in their prime years. The Coli started in 2012. While I’m not a Bron Stan, the Heat were must see tv, making nikkas mad every night. Kobe before that, got his fifth ring in 2010. Apple gang took over. Outside of the starting of police shootings becoming more prevalent, life was good.

It is nostalgia. Go on YouTube and look at the comments on any popular song from 2016 and you will see Teens and early 20 somethings reminiscing about that time period the same way 30-40 year olds do the 90s. It isn’t about the times as much as it is the human experience, and the stresses that come with being older will always make being a kid/young seem more enjoyable in retrospect.

I wouldn't even say the police shootings were more prevalent. They just couldn't be ignored anymore since everyone has a smart phone with good cameras in em. If racist ass mainstream news doesn't want to cover the story they'll be forced to because of buzz coming from social media. This was the decade in which mainstream news realized social media isn't a fad and is genuine competition to them now. I feel sorry for anyone who got a journalism degree and thought they'd get a lucrative career.

Imagine the hurt knowing that a dude on YouTube and Twitter with a smart phone who has read some books is living the dream you spent several racks studying for. :wow:

Facts. That’s how I feel about the early 2000s :francis: Everytime I hear these songs it takes me right back.

Very true. You right. I misspoke. Smartphones became more prevalent and I’m glad they did like you said. Think about all the brehs that were killed in 2008 and before…corrupt police could say whatever they wanted and there was no record to prove otherwise :scust:
