Yes, get a wireless router. There should be three or four ethernet outs on the back. Plug that into your PS3.

Are you sure you only have one ethernet port in the back?

Show us a pic of the back where the ports are. Also the model number will be on a sticker usually on the bottom of the router.

That's a router...see the 1,2,3,4? Those represent the ethernet ports. Run an ethernet cable from any of those 4 to your PS3, and you're good to go.
