He's Fortune 500 rap.

The resurgence of mainstream reggae, afrobeats, UK rap, and other aspects of black music around the world can be linked to Drake elevating artists across the diaspora. Call it trend hopping, but when Drake shines light on something, its gonna go to new heights. Kendrick can not, and has not done that.

Kendrick is critically acclaimed by the mainstream "tastemakers" yet the streets and the people CLEARLY love Drake. Its not even close. Its also how you know people dont actually have social lives.
