theres really nothing that hard to understand in kendricks music. maybe if youre used to just listening to like kanye talk about getting bleach on his shirt kendrick is too hard to understand but hes not some rapper where you need to decode and decipher everything he says to get any meaning.
I don't understand how people can listen to MOZZY and think Kendrick is an above average rapper...

People's rapper who love the idea of a "Kendrick", that's why you see no one up and coming emulating his style because they realize he's just an anomaly
Basically.

He's what mainstream wants in a "rapper" who is not too dangerous or TOO woke but just enough to make them think they're "hip"

He's Fortune 500 rap. :heh:

This is why you gotta ask why Drake is the one doing black music across the diaspora and people ignore it. The resurgence of mainstream reggae, afrobeats, UK rap, and other aspects of black music around the world can be linked to Drake elevating artists across the diaspora. Call it trend hopping, but when Drake shines light on something, its gonna go to new heights. Kendrick can not, and has not done that.

Kendrick is critically acclaimed by the mainstream "tastemakers" yet the streets and the people CLEARLY love Drake. Its not even close. Its also how you know people dont actually have social lives.

Kendrick ain't doing tours where he sells out the same city 4-6 times.
