Take the best songs some of the "legends" did and every career looks like trash. The thing is, every career start of good and the longer it goes on there is a higher chance of making trash songs and trash albums.

I love Kendrick and can't wait for his new album but some times he want show his skills so much it gets to much (same problem eminem have these days).

Take this song for example.

Using the his now favourite formula: starting out with his nonstop flow and end up emphasizing words while sounding angry. Which I think is dope on some song but this time it don't match the beat.

Some people can't see flaws in their favourite artists, and OP is just pointing it out telling you to clam down. We know Kendrick is good. Just chill and let him drop a few albums and we will see if he can live up to it all.

But I'll be honest with the recent direction Lupe has gone and in light of what has become of some of my favorite rappers these TDE dudes are refreshing

Who cares if he disagrees, which i've never heard him say. Hes doing because of the respect he has for a veteran fellow artist. His best of is better then eminems. I cant even remember the last time i willingly listened to an eminem song. Hes lineage is trash.
