This statement is clearly ridiculous...
Name someone will his skillset. Dude had the 2nd most 3 pointers in the league after Steph and was a lockdown defender. Many Warrior fans believe he's a better defender than Iggy is. The closest player I can think of is Afflalo but he can't get his shot off the bounce the way Klay can so go ahead and name a player with his skillset on both sides of the ball :sas1:

He's a better two way player than harden

Rockets would have beat the blazers if you swap harden for Klay
No way in Hell. You can't have a backcourt rotation of Lin, Klay, and Beverley and think any offense is going to be created. At the very least Harden can get to the foul line and create a lot off of the dribble.

Dog, Klay Thompson's skillset is basically being a shooter and a defender. Think about that... there have been plenty of great shooters/defenders in this league. You're talking like Klay Thompson is an anomaly, like LeBron or somebody. Fukk outta here.

You've seen that within your own organization assuming you're a longtime Warriors fan... Mitch Richmond was a great shooter who played great D. Jason Richardson, Stephen Jackson, these guys all had the same skillset. You may want to argue that Klay is better or worse than them at it, but his actual skillset is the same as plenty of other players.

Klay would've led the league in 3's last year if Steph didn't, while arguably being his team's best perimeter defender and one of the best in the league. LeBron never could lead the league in 3's. Dude is a top 3 shooter and an elite defender. How many people can you honestly say that about?

Think about it this way. No player in league history has made more 3's in their first 3 years than Klay has. Not even Steph Curry.

I literally just named cats who were three point shooters and great defenders. And if we're going to talk about LeBron can't lead the league in threes, let's talk about all of the shyt that Klay CAN'T do... like lead his team in assists, or rebounds, or be the best player on a great team, or likely even be the best player on a homecourt playoff team. Klay is a very good player but your bias is making you see him as more than what he is.

No, he can't create offensively. Using highlights to prove a point is dumb.

Klay is the 2nd or third offensive threat on the floor, after Curry and Lee. He has a decent midrange game but he's not elite or even good at creating offense got himself or creating his own shot.

He's pretty much a great 3 and D guy with slightly more offensive versatility.

Can't believe this dumb ass nikka just mentioned LeBron in that context as if that makes Klay elite or something. :heh:

So, are you saying because Klay can shoot the 3 like a lot of above average players, we should believe he's the next big thing?

Klay can create offensively bruh. Playing with Curry and Lee he doesn't have to. He has a post game and he can put it on the floor and get to the basket. You'll see next season.
