You said Kobe posted better numbers than Lebron. That's a load of crap.

Lebron averaged better stats In everything except scoring and he did it as the primary focus of the defense instead of having teams treat him as the secondary threat. Kobe pretty much got the Tony Parker in 07 treatment. He was a beast mode second option but still the second options

Lebron scored less points on lower efficiency while doing better in everything else. Lebron was better.

Same reason why that's probably Kobe's best championship season. Lebron's first ring still shyts on all of Kobe's.

okay forget kobe putting up better numbers. just explain to me how one guy is a role player and the other the GOAT?

Kobe in 2001 playoffs: 29.4 PPG(47 FG%), 7.3 RPG, 6.1 APG = ROLE PLAYER
Bron in 2013 playoffs: 25.9 PPG (49 FG%), 8.4 RPG, 6.8 APG = GOAT

this all started cause you said kobe's first 3 rings were the result of him being pippen type role player. and i said 29/7/6 and 27/6/5 for rings 2 and 3 are not role player numbers. they are superstar number #1 option numbers comprable to your gawd lebron.

how old are u kid? Cause a statement like this proves to me you didn't watch basketball in the early 2000s. LOL at Kobe being a secondary threat. Maybe to eastern conference opponents, but not the West's elite.

Kobe's biggest games those years came against San Antonio in the playoffs. They had Duncan/Robinson to take care off Shaq. The reason we beat em is cause the rest of the team couldn't contain Kobe. The Spurs feared Kobe more than Shaq those years and they paid him extra attention.

48/16 and 45/10 in back to back games for Kobe in 2001 playoffs against the Kings and Spurs. :whew:

Bron's never had a back to back showing that dominant. And Kobe did that as a "role player" :mjlol:

Jordans legacy is miles beyond rings. His impact in the game of basketball from all aspects is what sealed his legacy. And nobody will ever come close to his impact. He's the first to do it.

Lebron is Lebron. Kobe is Kobe.

Thread should end here:ld:

Lebron definitely exemplifies the new era of the NBA, he will go down as the best of this era without a question. But when it comes to how he plays the game, you def can't put him with MJ...not for a second. It's not a bad thing though, dude has always been more Magic than MJ:yeshrug:
