Don't let them know your paying cash until the last minute, they like financing (weird I know). They'll work with you more towards the price rather then knowing you have x amount of dollars and trying to make you spend it all

You better off taking your money to a buy-here-pay-here type of dealer or some shyt if you looking for some type of deal just because you paying cash. Most major dealers are in the business of making money off of financing, not selling a car for cash at or below its retail value, which means they won't be making as much of a profit off of it as they would with you financing.

I work at a dealership() and people paying with cash/check isn't unusual at all. Anything over $10000 requires a 8300 form though. I've only had one customer pay for his car fully in cash and despite having a bill counter, that was a pain in the ass to count.

All dealers care about is getting the car off the lot; they could care less with how u pay for it. When i was looking for a whip i test drove a 08 mazda 6 (the new models) fully loaded v6. I guess it was a slow day cuz the dealer's boss was gonna give it to me for like 13Gs. I asked my dad and a couple of friends and they told me not to get it cuz its a mazda To this day i kinda regret not taking it.
But if u go to the dealer near the end of the month when they're trying to meet their numbers and u come through with the cash up front they'll be more willing to give u an ill deal.
