Yeah but that's the base of there appeals. Ask anyone what Drake is known for and you'll hear them say rapping about bytches ask anyone bout Kendrick and they'll say the same thing about the ghetto. I'm pretty sure Pusha T has songs that aren't just about moving white but if you ask anyone what he raps about they'll say drugs. Don't nitpick.

But these are the princes of our people, drug dealers. We used to respect the revolutionaries, the cats who wanted to clean up the community not help bring it down.

In all honesty OP mentioned the flow and how it's predictable, in a lot of rap now a days their flows are predictable which sometimes takes away the pleasure from listening.
