I go to a lot of comedy shows at the DC Improv. Some of the funniest people I saw:
1. Tony Rock
2. Ashy Larry
3. Godfrey
4. Neal Brennan (He's white, but he co-wrote Chappelle Show, so he's down by law)
5..Shawn Wayans (I was surprised. I thought he was the least funniest Wayan brother, but he performed with Marlon and he was wayyyy funnier)

Tony Rock made me laugh the hardest though.
:russ: Shawn and Marlon always been funny cats. Tony got jokes too. Neal Brennan is pretty funny too. But he didn't have any thing that had me dying. I forgot to mention Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence they funny too.

Earthquake is probably the funniest man on the planet.

Check out Bruce Bruce, Corey Holcombe, George Wallace.

Love all those cats you mentioned. I like C Holc a bit more than Earthquake though.

Jerrod Carmichael.

This breh is really talented. He had a good standup special on HBO (even my Mom was crackin' up). He also is about to have a sitcom on NBC.

Eric Andre is mad funny too. I don't know about his standup but his show and interviews are hilarious if you're into that style of humor.

Came to post Corey Holcomb. Now that I'm in. Martin Lawrence has made me laugh the hardest in person followed by Corey holcomb and then Shawn wayans

Chappelle is great to see live. This dude only had 3 written jokes the whole time he just freestyled the hour and 15 minutes he was on stage and he was hilarious.

My homie sent me that fatlip shyt a couple weeks ago and had me ROLLING. Dude was off the strongest dope.

Eric Andre's show is hilarious

the way he hit the ground had me :dead:

As far as comedians, I think everyone pretty much listed all the one's I'd most recommend.

Uh... Mike Birbiglia's newest special wasn't gut bustingly funny, but it was one of the most well-made specials I've seen. John Mulaney's new special was nice. Demetri Martin has some funny one liners. Doug Stanhope's joint was nice. Steve Byrne's funny. And I'm sure if you're in this thread you've seen it, but rewatch Eddie Murphy's specials.
