Can Somebody Explain What Fetishizing Is?

I'm going to straight up and say it; I'm a dumbass and I do not understand this whole Fetishizing deal. I see this word being tossed around a lot on the "internet" lol and basically What is Fetishizing? Does Fetishizing deal with only black people and why? In a relationship; how do you know somebody is Fetishizing you and just does not like you for you?

The first step is to understand what a "fetish" is. I'm sure Google can help you with that.

Once you understand what a fetish is, then apply that meaning to the verb tense and...BOOM! There you have it! A clear understanding of what that silly "internet" word really means

No one person really know what does and what doesn't qualify as fetishizing. Some people will say almost anything, like any racial preference at all. I think the whole thing is silly, I like Latinas a lot an I just know that about myself, I'm not tryna be disrespectful and fetishize anything... also people only have a problem with it when it's based in race, no one cares if you fetishize blondes...
