It's definitely in the Top 3 Wu solo albums, but I agree that it's wild overrated. A great 4.5/5 mics album, but not impeccable :manny:
So...a classic like it supposedly "isn't"?
Exactly. If anything, its a good album but I remember a den of "real hip hop" cacs straight up shytted on me because I did not get on my knees and pray to the fukking album. I mean, I get it...it's lyrical but its a prime example of "lyrical spiritual" nonsense that becomes boring and dated:francis:
No it isn't

@Blessed Koala Can you use a calendar? Grasp spiritual concepts? Perform addition, subtraction and multiplication?

In other words:

Whats todays mathematics, gawd?

:picard:Now this is a thread all in this thread. Despite the flabbiness after their double album, the Wu is wild iconic.
Nothing flabby about Supreme Clientele, Fishscale and OB4BL2 breh

But I agree with OP. Tried to like Liquid Swordz for years but GZA is just too boring for me. I never got the appeal for him and masta Killah. Straight killing the momentum on Triumph
