Saying GZA is or was lyrical miracle should be auto ban worthy![]()
That's the best way to listen to this album - a long drive/walk, particularly at night, then you fully get it.I felt the same way.

Me personally it's clearly the album that influenced me the most and there was no looking back after it as a Wu stan and a HH fan. Beats and rhymes are top notch, but on top of that it's a real ALBUM, totally cohesive and it has a certain dark atmospheric feel to it. Also I was listening to it all the way back in sunny Central African Republic so the fact that it still conveyed the imagery of cold city nights shows how much it succeeded in portraying that kind of situations. As a young teenager it's probably the first piece of art that made me feel the power art can have. Felt like more than music, even more than a movie. Immersive as fukk.
