I havent read the thread nor do i have the desire to, im just surprised the thread has so much activity. I have nothin against her and i know she's popular, but its just weird that if i was to make a thread about eLzhi or DJ Premier it would go wood. Just seems kind of backwards to me thats all

Elzhi is a pretty poor example considering duke doesn't put out music, a better example would be why does Adele putting a single out have more replies than Teedra Moses's album thread, when Teedra dropped a great album.

If you actually look at that thread ..half of the replies we were discussing OTHER artists. Adèle was just a name in the thread title.

We discussed everything from Minnie Ripperton to Amy Winehouse

It looks odd on the surface but if you actually payed attention it spring boarded from Adele dropping a new song into some other shyt. It went "diamond" from people arguing back and forth, largely about other people.

I figured it would since it was a late night thread it would end up on the 3rd or 4th page by morning but like I said...a bunch of bickering started, some knowledge started being kicked, social issues started being discussed, dope music (from Adele and others) started being posted...it's not really what you're assuming. It isn't that much to discuss about a dope Premier or Elzhi song.

Because there wouldn't be much room for argument? People would probably come in and say the like the song or not and KIM. The Adele thread went "plat" because of arguments and background conversation. I don't expect people to go through 7 pages to get proper context but nikkas in here salty or trying to compare it to a random thread about XYZ...it kinda becomes important to note that the thread got that long for other reasons.
