Can someone explain how making Reigns into Cena 2.0 will NOT turn the crowds against him?

At least Cena got over organically at first with his Marky Mark routine, before WWE forced Suoerman Cena on everyone for the next decade.
With Reigns, people were booing and shytting on the idea of him as top guy before they ever even pulled the trigger, because the writing was on the wall. Imagine year 4, year 5 of Reigns' superman pushTNA ratings on deck.
He was WAY ovah with the shield, but the smarks booed him once he went face since that's the "cool" thing to do

i can't believe people still run with this tired ass premise...it wasn't the awful booking, the inorganic push or the fact he just doesn't have 'it'....no, it was some scheme made by devious neckbeards to appear cool
for a 'niche' part of wwe's audience, they sure do seem to have a lot of pull on how well received this fellow is

The Shield was over. The concept was over and people loved Ambrose and Rollins as indy darlings. Reigns was along for the ride to be eye candy for women. So when WWE flips it and pushes him as the face of not only the Shield but the entire company when he clearly doesnt have it, yeah people are gonna voice their disapproval.
Reigns always got he loudest reactions during the Shield, it wasn't just with the women, but the smarks also. Rollins got the strap and was getting crickets from the marks

Just not true at all. Stop trying to single out the "smarks" like every arena wasnt shytting on Reigns' push for months.

First of all take a minute to consider the fact that you're taking up for casual fans. Why? Does anyone care about the opinions of casual sports fans? You're damn sure not a casual fan so why do you identify with their opinions?
That being said, the vast majority of everyone shytted on Reigns, and this is not even a matter of debate, simple fact. He got booed out of every arena they went to. When the fukkin Rock comes out and the whole arena is still booing, thats widespread, unanimous disapproval.
