Do you or Herbstreit actually know that this provision was added to the BCS to keep Hatch from bringing the organization up on anti-trust hearings? I applaud it actually playing a part of the totality of the system. If they can make it in, so be it, but don't be mad at the school. Be mad at the system or better yet, be mad at the voters because their votes actually play a part in the ranking formula. His "rage" is totally off base that first 30 min of the show but he tried saving face that second half of the show but by then, damage done. All the more reason to have a true national playoff instead of forcing teams to play re-alignment musical chairs, right? You wouldn't complain if they beat a team or 2 in the playoffs, right?

Hell naw I wouldn't complain. Let them play their way towards a BCS game against top notch competetion. Hell SC had to go to Clemson at night, played LSU and Florida on the road and beat UGA at home. But nikkas on here talkin bout bu bu bu but UNI beat Kent St. The fukk outta here.

They can only beat who they play and whoever will want to face them after all the politics involved in setting up OOC games though.

I don't see the big deal in "BCS Bowl" as a super honor though. They're not playing what everyone considers the championship and that money doesn't go to the players. I say let them enjoy the little spotlight.
