If Superman takes the fight SERIOUSLY, isn't a victim of Plot Induced Stupidity, and wants to kill, Batman is dead before he knows it

Superman can fly faster than light meaning before Batman can react, Superman can speed blitz him and literally cut him in half

He could lobotomize him from space or miles away considering he has high control over his laser vision and since it's many times hotter than the sun


only way Batman would even slow down Superman is with years of prep time

The only way Batman beats Superman in a fight is if...

1. Batman has the prep time thing.
   
2. Superman isn't actually fighting (In that Dark Knight Returns fight, he basically tanked all of Bruce's shots while trying to talk him down)
3. Plot-induced stupidity combined with an extreme aversion to using any of his powers.

Fact is, if any of us had Superman's powers, there's no chance Batman even has time to blink before the fight is over.

Superman's entire design screams try hard, this not only makes superman dull, but overpowered. His creator didn't want to give him any flaws to balance him out, which is what led to kryptonite. Superman is also hazardous to the environment. Dude ain't got the money to pay for his carnage.

Compared to Batman, who is less try hard, Batman has to investigate, study, prepare, learn, to face his enemies and beat them including superman. Bruce Wayne is an OG Creepy ass Creep Stalker lv. 92. But he's gives back to the community
